Blueridge Cares is back, and once again we are helping those in need this holiday season. We’re counting on your help to make this happen!

Blueridge Christmas Train

For the 15th year, the Blueridge Christmas Train is running! Local resident Brian Gardiner is your host and engineer! The train’s schedule can be found here or on the Blueridge Neighbours Facebook group. If you’re not familiar with the train, here’s a video from 2022 about it.
You can see the train at 2377 Berkley Avenue.
Unless otherwise noted, it runs from 6:30 to 8:30 pm every night.

Blueridge Winter Coat Drive

Help support the community! Donate your gently used coats, jackets or sweaters for homeless shelters during the cold winter season! You are able to donate starting now up until January 10th, 2026, for two opportunities to contribute for those in need!

Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing and Blueridge (Updated Nov 27, 2025) – Bill 25 received royal assent on November 27th. SSMUH is coming to the DNV.
Baden Park Construction (Updated November 28, 2025) No lane closures are planned for Mt. Seymour Parkway or Lytton Street during the week of December 1 – 5.
The Future of Chlorine Production at Chemtrade (Updated Oct 22, 2025) The DNV has the Chemtrade development application online at: https://www.dnv.org/business-development/100-amherst-avenue.
UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) Clearing (Updated October 17, 2025) The UXO search in the Blair Rifle Range has been extended until March 2026. More details are now available at the link, including a map showing the area and trails affected.

The BCA is a volunteer-based association of residents that enhances our community through a variety of programs and resources.
